Service Process

1. Order from Clients  

Clients place order according to their needs. In order to meet your requirements, please include purpose and requirements in the email with warpage, fill flow, contraction, appearance, pressure effect, suitability of rubber feeding location, cooling effect, optimization and confirmation onbest design or molding solution, etc.. Meanwhile, please provide basic information for analysis via email to ensure correctness and reliability of analysis. The demanded information includes:

  • * 3D drawing of the product (PRO/E or X-T, STEP format)
  • * 2D assembly drawing of the mold
  • * Name of plastic material, manufacturer and trademark (would be better to provide performance form of the material, so that we can replace with similar material if there is no such plastic material in the data.)
  • * Parameters of molding machine and requirements on molding cycle.

2. Offer and Contract Signing

Provide specific offer or offer breakdown for clients via email according to the order of clients. In order to make offer reasonable, our pricing is determined based on following contents of clients:

  • 1 Moldflow requirements.
  • 2 Size and complexity of structure of the product.
  • 3 When client confirms the molding method and offer, both parties sign on quotation/contract and send through fax or courier to each other.

3. Moldflow Report  

We will carry out moldflow immediately after receiving signaturesigned quotation or contract from client and finish all items within contracted period to ensure timely delivery to the client. Meanwhile, provide detailed moldflow report for client. After the analysis, we will provide consulting service to client for free for the cooperated product and help client develop optimal design and molding solution.

If necessary, we could communicate with the designer party on product and mold on behalf of the mold company.

4. Following-up Service for Moldflow

In the past three years of moldflow service, we found that some clients are with rather underdeveloped injection molding technology. Therefore, it is very necessary for us to guide them in molding technology. We will provide free molding consulting service for our clients who have cooperated project with us.

In addition to free molding consulting, we can also send engineers with rich injection molding experience (over 15 years) to have mold trail on the site (client needs to cover partial cost in this regard) to ease clients from worry.

5. Moldflow Report Delivery

Clients always think that our moldflow delivery period is somewhat longer. Actually, the general case requires two to three days (other moldflow companies require only one to two days, or even 24 hours), so it is impossible to develop complete solution in 24 hours. We have to optimize moldflow for sake of assurance. Moldflow is just the mold trial in computer. Not everyone could make a good mold with only the first and second mold trial.

  6. Price

Mr. Li, Vice General Manager of Shouju, told our consultant (Bin Zhigang), “You moldflow is comparatively more expensive than other moldflow supplier, at least 50% and even 100% higher for the same project.” Listening to this, the consultant asked, “Why are you willing to have us to provide service for you since we can’t bring any benefit for you?”. Mr. Li replied: “Of course there is benefit. The mold does not have any problems with your moldflow. You provided improvement solution for our unreasonable design. However, other moldflow companies (personnel) only provide moldflow service. They are helpless in making a mold.”

7. Price and Value

Actually, not only the prices are different, but also the value are different. BYD (RMB 400,000) is much cheaper than bullet-proof Mercedes-Benz (RMB 2 million), but all people agree that Mercedes-Benz is worthier.
